To improve and optimize the management of volcanic risk in Spain as well as other regions and/or countries with volcanic risk, especially with those which there are strong cultural and historical ties with Spain, through the advance of the scientific knowledge, cooperation, educación and outreach as well as to contribute to improve the management of the numerous benefits that entails living in an active volcanic region for strengthening the economic and business framework linked to the tourism, energy and environment sectors by promoting geotourism, geothermal development and other geological resources.
