The group of professionals of the INVOLCAN have been performing collaborative research on a wide range of R+D+I+O (Research+Development+Innovation+Outreach) projects related to reducing volcanic risk and other associated risks, geothermal exploration, geological resources analysis, environmental geological studies and geotourism which have been co-financed by the European Union , the Spanish Government, the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildos Insulares as well as other national/international finantial-aid agencies.
