Both own scientific and technical personnel and collaborative research staff linked to a large number of national and international R&D institutions converge at INVOLCAN as a cooperative effort for the advance on volcano research and education related to the volcanic phenomenon. Currently INVOLCAN is structured into four areas or divisions (Volcano Monitoring, Volcanology, Geological Risks and Geological Resources).
